I'm always looking for a way to listen to my music while I'm lifting weights at my gym. I decided to give these over the ear headsets a try. I don't like the headphones that connect to my phone because somehow they always come unplugged or the wires get tangled & eventually one side stops working due to loose wires.
These arrived in a little box measuring 2 3/4" tall by 3" wide by 1 1/2" thick. When I opened the box I found the headset earphones, a USB charger, a User Manual, extra ear caps (4) and even a clip to hold the wires together so you can fit them easily to your needs.
I tried connecting them & as long as I held them on top of my phone they easily were read on the bluetooth scanner. If you are a little ways away from your phone it doesn't connect. The manual says you have to be within one meter when pairing. It even says you can pair these with two Cell Phones at the same time but I'm not sure why you would do that unless maybe your music is on one & you want to answer calls from the other?
Yes you can even answer a call, redial the last call, transfer calls between the headset & the phone and mute the microphone while you are on a call. It explains it all in the manual. I just thought I was getting these to listen to music, it was a welcomed surprise that I could take calls on these.
It even allows you to control your music without even having to touch your phone. You can turn the volume up or down, play the last song or next song, and pause or play a song.
The specifications say talk time is 5 - 7 hours, 6 hour music time, standby time is 180 hours, and charging time is about 1.5 hours. Not too bad but I don't know anyone who talks 7 hours in one shot. It claims to be able to use these 33 feet away from you phone but I'm not quite sure how accurate that is, I don't know many people who leave their phone 33 feet away from them nowadays :)
The sound quality is amazing & there is no need to pump up the volume to hear your favorite tracks. They play smooth, quality sound without having to adjust the volume past the default.
I would give this headset 5 Paws out of 5 just based on all it can do, the sound quality, and the simplicity of not having to be plugged into your phone to listen to your music. It is amazing in the gym, on a walk or while jogging. A definite need for the person who is physically active & wants to connect to their music while having the option of taking or making calls.
I was given this product at a discounted rate for my honest review. In NO way did it sway my decision into a positive one, the product did that all by itself.
