I recently have lost over 35 lbs in a year.  Now it's easy to lose some weight but when you get to the plateau weight it can be hard to lose more even when you have more to lose.  I am always looking for any items or diets to help me get over the hump.  I decided to give this cookbook a try.

I received the eBook version & this version has 94 pages.  The book comes with 45 recipes which includes various recipes for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner & Dessert.

The book has easy to follow recipes with common household ingredients; there may be a few ingredients that you have to pick up at the store but otherwise it is easy to come by ingredients.  There are NO going to the top of mountain to pick a rare type of mushroom like most cookbooks & recipes seem to have nowadays.

Reading this book I found the Pros of the diet is getting to eat whatever you want.  As long as it is portioned controlled & as long as you are aware of what you are putting into your body.

The diet says you will lose 2 pounds a week if you stick to the diet plan.  It works by giving you healthy choices to fill you up so you are likely to eat less.  When you are full with a healthy diet your desire to cheat become less likely.  The diet goes by points & gives you a link to calculate those points.

I'd recommend giving this eBook a try if you want to try a new option for losing weight.  What do you have to lose (besides time reading it & a few unwanted pounds)

I have to give this book 4 Paws out of 5.  I wish it would have included pictures of what the recipes look like and a few more recipes but for the price of the eBook I can't complain too much.  It gives you a jump start to eating healthy the Weight Watchers way!!  It's perfect for beginners!!

I've recently started to lift weights & with excessive use of muscles and joints I haven't used for awhile I do experience some pain in my elbows.  Of course I have an old school elbow brace, you know the one that seems to tighten up & cut off blood flow or that curls up and has you always pulling it up or down to fix it.  I was curious about this new design that is supposed to help tennis elbow, golfer's elbow or just general elbow pain.

The product claims it will take pressure off of the tendon.  The product is an adjustable small brace with a strap to size it to your perfect fit, it has a gel pad which feels weird at first but offers compression on your aches.  



I love the way this stays in position.  It doesn't slip & it doesn't get super tight - if it ever does all I have to do is make a simple adjustment.


It is definitely a improvement on the typical elbow brace.

This product not only comes with two elbows compression pads but also a stylish visor with the company logo. 


I give this product 4 paws out of 5 simply because I wish it expanded a little bit bigger, it's a tight fit to get in on my arms.  But the ease & not having my arm constricted too tight with regular braces and not having to constantly pull them up from where the regular brace curls makes it all worthwhile.

I'm big on tech & any tech that allows me to listen to my favorite tunes at the gym is something I'm definitely interested in.  I decided to give this over the ear headset a try.  It's bluetooth & I don't have to have an annoying wire connected to my phone.  No embarassing moments of the headphone jack slipping out & my music interrupting everyone else.

The box it comes in measures 4"tall x 5"wide x 2"thick.  It is packaged very nicely.  The USB charge in one part & the headsets in the other.  I was impressed how well package this was to prevent damage to the unit.  When I opened the box I found the headset earphones, a USB charger, a User Manual, and extra ear caps (4)   The user manual is in VERY small print & very difficult to read but that's about the only negative thing I found.

The headset is a nice size.  Not too bulky.  I tried connecting them & as long as I held them on top of my phone they easily were read on the bluetooth scanner. It even says you can pair these with two Cell Phones at the same time but I'm not sure why you would do that unless maybe your music is on one & you want to answer calls from the other? 

Yes you can even answer a call, redial the last call, transfer calls between the headset & the phone and mute the microphone while you are on a call.  It explains it all in the manual.  I just thought I was getting these to listen to music, it was a welcomed surprise that I could take calls on these.

I would give this headset 5 Paws out of 5 just based on all it can do, the sound quality, and the simplicity of not having to be plugged into your phone to listen to your music.  It is amazing in the gym, on a walk or while jogging.  A definite need for the person who is physically active & wants to connect to their music while having the option of taking or making calls.

Another little gift for me.  I love anything for guns.  I decided to give this a try.

I was impressed at the heavy duty metal, how well-made this was, and how durable this was for the price.  It seems very high quality for the price.

Some of the features:

I'm always looking for fun, new toys.  I never really had a high quality scope for my rifle so I decided to give this a shot.  I was looking for a good, quality scope on the cheaper side since I don't need to spend 100s of dollars since I'm not using it for anything but recreation.

When I got this the Package included the scope sight, an allen wrench to secure the sight onto a rifle, 2 scope caps covering the front & back of the scope, a battery (already installed for the laser guides) and a lens cleaner small cloth.  



The lens has super clearness when you look through it  and each click of one of the dials helps by having 5 brightness settings for each of the Red & Green sights



The product description is:

• 10 levels of brightness.

• Positive and precise 1/4 MOA for accurate, consistent shooting.

For the price this is exactly what I need & I love it!!  If you are just looking for a low cost scope that does what it's supposed to (don't get ideas that it does what higher price scopes do because you'll be disappointed) and to use for just basic recreational use then I would definitely suggest you give this a try.

I give this product 5 Paws out of 5 because it wasn't the cheap quality sights that are usually set at this price range.  This is clear, fun, and a great little scope

These arrived in a little box measuring 2 3/4" tall by 3" wide by 1 1/2" thick. When I opened the box I found the headset earphones, a USB charger, a User Manual, extra ear caps (4) and even a clip to hold the wires together so you can fit them easily to your needs.



I tried connecting them & as long as I held them on top of my phone they easily were read on the bluetooth scanner.  If you are a little ways away from your phone it doesn't connect.  The manual says you have to be within one meter when pairing.  It even says you can pair these with two Cell Phones at the same time but I'm not sure why you would do that unless maybe your music is on one & you want to answer calls from the other?

I'm new to the workout craze so I don't know much about Yoga as these bands recommend use for.  I decided to try these bands to use when I'm not around my weights at my gym to tone up.  I'm not sure if all resistance bands are like this but I found the bands kind of thin, ribbon thin.  I'm afraid when I do anything they are going to snap but they seem to hold up pretty well.  Still I have an image of the band breaking & me knocking myself out.  However the product claims it is made of durable latex.  The company says they have a lifetime guarantee so I'm guessing these probably do hold up well.  Like I said I'm new to the whole band craze.

The Guide included with the bands says the uses are:

1.  Strength training

2.  Stretching

3.  Rehabilitation

4.  Posture correction

5.  An added tool for weight training

The 4 pack includes 2 loop and 2 7ft long variations. Each variation includes easy and medium resistance levels; appropriate for casual fitness. The product description on Amazon says to combine bands for a stronger resistance to challenge the serious athlete.  It even includes a carrying pouch so you can take them on the go.

I'm hoping these will work out the way the company claims & it will allow me some convenience when I'm just sitting around.  

I had to give this product 3 Paws out of 5 simply because they seem just like rubber bands & you all know how rubber bands can break and snap; plus the guide only has 6 exercises.  I really would love more suggestions on exercises since I'm a beginner.  Another reason for the deduction is I wish maybe there were more bands.  One set is bands the other is just a long latex.  I would have liked to see the thinner bands & maybe bands as thick as the long latex.  Plus the options are easy & medium, I would have liked a hard instead of combining the easy and medium.

I'm new to working out but wanted to increase my physical activity for my health & to lose some weight.  I decided I needed a good rope for cardio when I got to that level.  I decided to give this Cable Jump Rope a try since it claims it is the "#1 RATED CROSSFIT JUMP ROPE".  

Upon reading the product description I learned you can "Burn Up To 600 Calories An Hour Jumping Rope While Strengthening Your Legs, Butt, Shoulders, Arms and Also Improving Coordination"  Now like I said I am not to that extreme physical level yet but I hope one day soon to be able to at least be less than an amateur.

This rope seems like it will do the job for me  It is 10ft long but you can adjust it to any size you want in mere seconds.  The handles are 5 inches long & fit nicely in the palm of my hands.  It has 360 degree handle rotation so you don't have to worry about getting tangled or losing focus.  It even comes with a handy bag to stick it into making it easy to transport & compact.  



It looks like it is a very well made cable & would last for a long time.  Much longer than those old school rope jump ropes.  If you are on a level where you can really jump rope then I would say DEFINITELY give this a try, it will offer you everything you need in a jump rope "cable"


I give this product 5 paws out of 5 just because it is well made, you can fold it to make it portable, and it even comes with a carrying pouch so you can keep it handy wherever you want to take it.

When I received this product I was a little disappointed at the size of the speaker BUT I will get into that a little later.

Right out of the package it is very easy to set up, in fact it took me less than 10 seconds to sink it to my Android following the instructions provided.  The instructions are:
1)  Turn on the bluetooth speaker
2)  Open the bluetooth function on your smart phone
3)  The smart phone will search for the device, select "S7"
4)  A voice will notify you when the connection is successful

Yes it really is that simple.  I was playing my Amazon music in no time. 

Remember earlier when I said I was a little disappointed in the size?  It is about 3 1/2 inches tall by about 4 inches wide & 2" thick, I thought it would be just a little bigger.  However when I started to play music on it I couldn't believe the music was coming out of this little speaker.  It sounded like a speaker double its size - it was loud, the sound quality was excellent and the experience was wonderful.  I guess it's small so it can be very portable but what it lacks in size it makes up in quality.  You'll be amazed just how this little thing pounds out the beats. 

I've only had it a couple of days but I keep finding something new & exciting with this speaker.  It includes a 3.5mm aux-cable to hook to any jack of the same size.  It even allows you to insert a miniSD card with music which it will play.  It even has a fixture at the bottom where you can attach it to a tripod.

It even has FM radio & includes instructions on how to work the radio.

Is that all?  Far from it....it even has information on how to answer & end telephone calls.  This speaker does it all for its size & then some.  It is as functional as speakers twice / three times its size and about half the cost.

I have to say I was extremely pleased at what this speaker turned out to be.  It met all my expectations of what I wanted in a Bluetooth speaker & then some.  It will be a constant staple in my home gym as well as on my nightstand at night.  I finally have a quality speaker that is able to do more than one task.  It is the Swiss army knife of Bluetooth speakers!!!

I have to give this 5 paws out of 5 simply because I'm amazed at everything it can do for such a cute, portable size.
